Thank you all for all the kind words. Bob was the nicest mean kitty you could ever meet and his absence  is going to be tough to deal with for some time.
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

Sorry to hear Joel that Bob has passed.

At least he didn't go under the wheels of a beer truck like one of my Pups, or had one of my Cats run over in front of the house when I was 7.

Joel, reading this as my two dogs sleep at my feet.  I know how attached we become, but to me it's definitely worth it even knowing days like this will likely come.  Really sorry for your loss.
