Nice work on the fender chop. This is what I did to mine over the winter. Possibly one of the easier mods to do. $14 fender from ebay and hack away! Oh and GET RID OF THE REFLECTORS!!! OOOOOoooOOoOooOooooooo.... I chopped mine just like SpeedKnots and I dig it, but I really like the profile of yours. Any pics from the front or above?

I don't have any other pics yet, but I will get a few for you tonight when I get home from work. Speedknot: As far as the residue...just go fast! No one will see it!

That glossed black fender looks sexy. I want to see some full bike shots to get the full picture. I was thinking of shortening mine before I get it repainted.

Here is a few shots of the full bike. There has been a few color changes (no more tangerine) and exhaust swaps since these pics. I can get a current shot tonight.

Speedknot: As far as the residue...just go fast! No one will see it! Novel idea. Maybe if I go fast enough it will simply blow off. I've done as much as I can to get the hard crusty residue off without harming the clear coat. It looks like some of the glue might have chemically bonded with the clear coat so going to far will do more harm than good. You see what you made me do. Hey Slauster. The black on black on black on black... looks uber bad ass. It's like something you would see in the Matrix.

Thanks man. It kinda started with a piece at a time and then i couldn't help myself. I bought the bike used and whoever had it before me treated it like a real "monster". They never cleaned it so the engine had baked on dirt and grim. So, away I went with a rattle can of brake caliper paint. I am rather please with it so far. I had the seat cowl and fender professionally painted and wrapped the forks with vinyl wrap. Waiting for the funds to have the tank done. Currently there is a decal over the original tangerine decal. I am loving it. Makes it a little hard to see at night so, i gotta play it safe. Thanks for the kind words all!

I did the same think to mine. I Liked it more, but not enough. So then I grafted a Buell XB front fender on. Looked ten times better IMO. Pics or it did not happend....
