Don't lump me in with the SBK crowd. I just picked up a SuperSport. She needs some love, but she'll clean up just fine.

I'm gettin' my serious hatin' face on for you fracker.  You bought MY bike man!  Thats what I want! >:(

Stu told me he was gonna keep it stock...

I suggested painting the rear shock spring red, and he reiterated... It's staying stock.

If he so much as puts high performance blinker fluid into the indicators, it's a mod, and his wallet will be thinner...   [evil]

The stock mirrors are gone and the bike is sporting a bar end mirror.  DEMAND YOUR MONEY!!!!! [evil]

I would, but seeing as he's responsible for me aquiring this, I wouldn't feel right about taking his money:

Sac Duc and I are driving out to 'Burqué to pick it up from Stu this week.

We're also picking up this for Sac's wife, Polpetta:

Stu... You da MAN!!!   [bow_down] [thumbsup] [moto]

Well, I reckon I'll meet you later this week, then.  Shall I allow Stu to ride "his" new 848 whilst you're here, or would you rather see it ridden well?   [evil]

I expect the 848 to be behind me, actually...   :-*

Kidding,  I'll be taking it easy on the 999 until I get a good feel for her.
Going from a 60hp M750 to a 140hp 999 will take some getting used to!   ;)

Thanks. Stew has already got me set up on m900. That was just my way of saying that I am considerably slower than all of you.

Getting my 900SS (ie - a bike that actually fits me well enough I can move around on it) is my first real step toward getting serious about riding these things at speed. I'll get her fixed up and ridable then I'll be off to take some track classes.

I say take Cloner up on his offer... It will be kinda like riding your new supersport before you're actually able to ride your new supersport!   ;)

I'm just sayin'...   :-*

Yeah...with 41mm flat slides, Termignoni spaghetti system, Ohlins rear, Showa front with RaceTech internals, an oil leak on the vertical head, and an extended warm-up time due to poor tuning in the midrange after the move to high altitude .... but beggers can't be choosers.   ;D
