Suspension sales and service in Sydney?

i dont want to revalve really, just the suspension places are trying to tell me i should. even when i tell them im no racer, they are pushing the sale. i didnt have any idea of the suitability of the sbk valving to the monster, thats why i ask ppl like you guys for a non-sales person opinion.

the other thing i dont entirely agree with is the 250 to service forks. to service forks are they pulling them down completely and rebuilding with new seals/oil? that seems a bit excessive and unnecessary. i think im best off to just replace the oil and check the main seals for leaks while im at it. that'l only cost me max $30 and a little skin im sure to knock off on something. any opinions on that would be wonderful.

How many shades of Black are there

$250 ain't to bad to service the forks as oem seals are or were $20 each plus dust seals (not sure the price on those)

And if you do it your self change the seals beacuse sure as anything they will leak  a week after you reasemble them murphys law or somthing

my current tank and cowl are black so any shade of black would be a waste of my spare tank. 
was thinking the titanium silver colour of the s4rt could be good.

with concern to servicing forks, its only about 50-80 dollars more to re-valve the forks at the same time. so that puts me in a position of paying for them to be re-valved or replace the springs myself. i think ill do it myself, should be fun.

That was what I was going to query ... the 'extra over' cost for valving while they are in there could be (marginal) money well spent - otherwise you may later question yourself 'yeah its good but could it have been better?'

If you are going to do the work yourself though it is a whole different value equation.

that would be awesome! ive never pulled apart a set of forks before, so having someone that has before would help a lot. the forks are still in transit so once they get here and the springs too ill pm you.
