Yup, it's supposed to sound like that....

it's not my S4r and it's an undertail setup that was made by ARCfab, which is now defunct.

i saved that pic because I've been shopping it around looking to find someone who can make two dozen of them, i would sell all of them overnight.

This is the sole reason I haven't committed to a exhaust yet.  I really want something that will still let me show off the sexiness of the SSS.  Quat-D is my only option  bang head

Feel free to take that pic and shop it around locally.  I could not find anyone local who would build it reasonably.  It's a Y slip on and a silencer with a feed tube.  It could be done a variety of ways, but I think this is the simplest.  I believe he fabricated the oval silencer as well, but I don't know.  That part could be off-the-shelf and modified to fit.  The tube attached to the silencer and the Y are the only significant fabrication, one would just use the stock udder or any one of several mid-pipe setups.

e-mail Josh and and ask if he would be interested. They do custom work at times and this time of year they're hungry for work.

Side note - all the cars you see that have graphics on that website, I did Smiley

I also like the look of blacked-out forks.  If you are curious about how it would look on your bike wrap the forks with some black electrical tape and then stand back a couple of feet to get the general effect.

You reading my mind....just ordered some A9 vinyl from a fellow DMFer to black out the forks.

Here's the response I got from Josh:
In order to justify this to do the reverse engineering and machine set up we would need 30 sales…I probably can do 30 for 30% to 40% off for you to resell them.

To do 2 units you are talking a couple 1,000 as doing one off requires a lot of machine set ups which is where you spend all your time.  Let me know what you think and I can also try and figure out some contacts for you if either of these do not work for you.

Ducatiz - there's your answer  boo on a mass order.  Not sure I have a couple grand to spend just on an exhaust.  If you know others, I am definitely in for a batch order.

The U bolt is powder coated black. I did that a long time ago. I anodized the original forks black but never got around to doing the fully adjustable ones-sorry!
Hope that you are enjoying your bike......

No worries....you did a great job with it.  Give her a couple of weeks and I'll shoot you pics of her with some changes.  She was beautiful when I got her.

I was finally able to solve my exhaust issue.  Found this LeoVince SBK exhaust after searching online for several hours.

I have seen only one other Monster with this twisted pipe LeoVince exhaust.  Ordered some black fork tape and a carbon fiber front fender from a 848.

Now I just have to patiently wait for the parts to arrive.  With my Marvin midpipe it should look nice and SOUND Nice Arrow or no Arrow.  Will be sure to upload pics with all the new mods installed including the dual headlights....

That's the same pipe that Jim has.  If you're not completely set on that one, and want something that no one local has, take a look at Remus.

May I suggest .....

http://www.aerostich.com/titanium-exhaust-wrap.html

I think that was the exhaust our previous member The Ron had.
He was experiencing difficulties - it just didn't run well.
I have no idea why or what can/must be done to overcome it.
Maybe it's nothing, maybe the single outlet - I'm just saying this
so you're prepared if it doesn't work 100% out of the box.

It does look great though [moto]

Thanks for the heads up Stop...I have some exhaust wrap sitting here from when I thought I was going to wrap my midpipe and run just that.  Wisdom has prevailed!

Is Jim = Zhane?? Want to ask him if he's had any issues like Stop referenced above.
