This was at the Berkshire Mall in Lanesboro, Mass. less than an hour from me.

Isn't this a derby? Didn't I see this already on another thread? Not the ABC News story of it but the mall security video with the security guys laughing at her off screen. Her lawyer needs a swift kick to the nads. The interviewer needs to be smacked as well...he should have asked them who the hell they thought they could sue seeing as it was her own stupidity.

She's suing for the embarrassment, not the safety of the fountain. But during the interview she tries to give an emotional story about how nobody helped her. What was she expecting? A life guard for the fountain? Even if the security guard saw her fall in on the camera, she probably ran away out of embarrassment before he got there. She says that one of her friends says that they saw her on youtube but I can't see how anyone could identify her from that vid. If she didn't say anything then nobody would have known it was her. All the embarrassment she's "suffering" from is made up. Nobody knew it was her and nobody was laughing specifically at her until she spoke up and declared that she was an idiot.
