On a completely different subject...

There is a really nice 2006 999 for sale in the used/demo section of AMS' website. Only 1,243 miles, adjustable levers and license plate relocation kit. It looks completely stock other than that and it looks really clean! Oh yeah, it also has the rear number plate piece like the 999S and R models have... hope they didn't have to spend the $650 that costs!!

Decent price too but I am sure it's negotiable, most things are. For those not enamored with Ducati's new superbikes this would be a really nice find. I love my 999! If you have one you probably love yours too! waytogo

Exactly how many bikes do you have brian?

Every time you post I find out you have another bike. Would you be interested in adopting me? Wink

I like to keep that a mystery. laughingdp Just like I have never ever eaten at a McDonalds. I want to be the last person alive on earth to say that! That will go on my gravestone along with the list of scooters I have!! cheeky Kind of like my wife and her shoes, I like to be seen on a different bike each day. Grin

The line forms to the right regarding the adoption thing. My step son has no interest in bikes... what's wrong with him? Huh?

...uh, and Duc prices in general are reasonable? Where? Hey, face it, you get what you pay for.  laughingdp You want cheap, go cheap (not that there's anything wrong with that  waytogo ). If I remember correctly you do not drive around in a hondaizuki do you? (not that there's anything wrong with that  waytogo ).

Huh???

I was reffering to Muskrat's post about the prices of Ducs in general in Houston (if I understood it correctly, I could be wrong), then another reference to the type of cage he n Ms. E drive vs. 'other' foreign 4-wheel vehicles. In conclusion ...buy quality = save money.

BUT, the "huh?" was in reference to

You see now's when I want the Telly Savalas pic you used to post up ..."Who loves you baby?"

My reasoning:

My father always told me to get the best that you can afford and it will give you the most service. I bought a 1982 Jeep Wagoneer in 1996 and it still is on the road to day with around 150k on it. I bought a BMW motorcycle that lasted me for 22 years before the gas tank rusted out. I buy good quality shirts and pants and don't to buy any more for years down the line. So, when you break it down and average the use vs. cost, the equation is simple.  waytogo  Grin
