You got the idea right ... but the OEM is as tini says, fugly ... The bar support as I though is to have the 4 bolts go thru from top bar clamp to triple if you want to use the bar and have a 4 tiny bolts to cover the holes when using clip-ons ...

I might do that locally... shipping to the US and then getting it back without paying taxes is a real adventure ...

I could machine it into a pile of chips.

Trust me, that feeling of envy will go away right quick.

I have no seat time on a 996 so I can't compare.  

I gotta say though, im really starting to realize the full and awesome potential that the 999 really has.

I can see why it crushed in wsbk and im  just a hack.

This machine rocks.

Nothing like drilling a 1.5" hole from scratch in like 15 seconds.

I should have got that on video. . .
