That all being said, simple changes in the way the Ferrari mark was being used could have fixed that.  But that's just me.  And I'm just an attorney who has done trademarks now and then.

Good point, but there may be a primacy issue that prevents it.  the F150 has been around a jillion years but the 250/etc came later.

F-250 came out in 1970s.  I assume the 350/et al came later.

nothing designated as a F-150 until '73, there were 250s and 350s earlier

well, then I don't know why they haven't said anything before now.. it's interesting, but i don't have time to research it and Ferrari isn't paying me to defend their marques... :-)
