I didn't think about that, maybe the Dealer I got the bike from did not have the tank filled all the way up, I just assumed.....
Probably a poor assumption.

Fill the tank all the way up and ride it and see.

Make sure you put some miles on just after filling or you could overflow into your charcoal canister, or onto your garage floor.

my reserve light goes on at about 120 miles in mostly rural riding.
sounds like you need to fill up a bit more.

My S4 gets about 30, maybe low 30's if I try real hard.   My old CBR900RR, got pretty close to 50, if not an actual 50, most of the time.   I find it hard to believe a 695 doesn't get pretty close to 50.

Lets see...  M750 with really rich fuel mix - 30-35MPG.  900SS, usually about 45MPG.  I'd think the 695 would get at least into the upper 30s if not into the 40s.

M750... getting 45-ish. That's pretty much an even mix of city/hwy/twisties. I don't flog the shit out of it, but I don't baby it either.
