Smaller Pace radiator for S4R
«
on:

Teaser pic:
This is essentially the radiator described by Simon here:
http://www.simonvicki.co.uk/wheels_pages/_s4r_pages/S4r_stage_8.html
Its 100 mm narrower, 5mm thicker and the same height. Nominal decrease in volume by 5%, only room for one fan (which I'm running anyway). I'll bolt it up tonight after work and post more pics then.
Pace can make more, so PM me if you're interested.

Very cool. Do you think it will bolt up on an S2R?
This was always one of my issues with the S4R. The radiator was so wide. Maybe it's time to start the hunt for a nice used 4 valver.

I've seen photos of it mounted on an S4R and it's almost invisible (compared).

Well, I won't finish tonight. I need coolant and hose clamps. Plus, I have to figure out how/if I can still use the covers. I really like the covers, particularly after I fit an aftermarket overflow reservoir.

Wow. If this had been available back in '02, I'd be riding a liquid-cooled monster now

Which rad covers? The cf ones that extend to the frame to cover the fans, or the small ones that fit on the sides? (Just curious in mods, I still am water-cooled-bike-less)

Well, since my S4Rs radiator has sprung a leak (all by itself, no stone damage) at 34,000km, I'm very interested too.
Wonder what the quality will be like compared with the stock rad? Better, I'm hoping.
