I wanted to get to DIMBY so badly last year, I rode close to 300 miles with a throat infection that turned into tonsillitis, which turned into a blood infection, which turned into an ambulance ride, which turned into an overnight stay at the hospital in Monterey.

Still made to DIMBY, though.  (with more than a little help from my friends)

Mr. AJ has a series of highly unstable complex breaks, so they're putting him totally under, so they won't discharge him without someone to take him home.  And I'm not vying for the title of "worst girlfriend ever".

Pretty impressive effing stoopid to ride to DIMBY 2010 with a raging infection & fever.  Did you make the ambulance take twisty roads on the way to the hospital?

Hahaa...  I don't remember the ambulance ride.. 

But Sac pretty much dragged/carried me two blocks to a fire station so paramedics could check me out.  The doctor said if Carl had brought me in an hour later, I wouldn't have been around to have that chat with him.     

So, yeah I'm a bull headed stubborn sonofapregnant dog, but I didn't want to be like the other 20 SoCal'rs who bailed with lame excuses like, "I got a hang nail and it hurts to put my riding gloves on.." or "I promised my girlfriend I would wash her sister's dog..."

A big thanks to MrIncredible and Mother (now Jacob on the board) for picking my ass up in the hospital the next day and dragging me the last 80 miles to DIMBY!

Yes,  Melissa and Carl...make the beast with two backsING ROCK!!!

Another member had at first put their place up for us hooligans, but it wasn't able to come together there, so double kudos to them! 

Last year it was up at MrIncredible and somegirl's place in Loma Mar, and the year before it was at my place (Duck-Stew and River hosted)...  Who will step up to the plate next year?

Looks like I'll be bikeless...my Suki is apparently a effed piece of  feces.  Another carb rebuild failed to make it run right, and I think I have a burned valve.  I need to  to forget.  Then again, there will all those Ducatis remind me of the asinine decision I made.
