I don't have an answer for your question, but that sure isn't going to stop me from chiming in... I use one of these guys for less than perfect kickstand terrain: Upside: Cheap Downside: You can lose 'em

I used to have one that came with the "members kit" from TOB.
Sadly, it got lost somewhere between Kansas and Kentucky.

ive ground down both my foot on turns. i use a plate. but since NYC and its surrounding area has so much garbage and large rocks i jsut sue that.

I welded a duc foot to mine, no pics yet (powdercoating) will post when I get it back. Added about a 2" foot print.

I got in the habit of carrying a (cleaned) crushed coke can... or you could use pepsi, but they lost the taste test.
plus if I left it ... i just drank another to get a replacement

Is that where you would mount it with some sort of screw to the bottom of the kickstand foot?

any bike shop really, mainly used to prevent melting of ashfualt and dropping your bike. i came out one summer here in CO and my bike was over 2" into the parking lot, leaning hard! No idea what the hole is for, mine doesn't have them, laniard?
