Luckily, nothing broke..from what I can tell on quick inspection. No broken bones either. Just aching neck, middle back and left calf. Everything is tightening up as the night goes on.

Since you appear to be OK...how's the bike?

Sorry to hear.  Though I wouldn't be smart enough to take my own advice a trip to the doctor would be prudent.  In the meanwhile enjoy a  [drink] or three, hot bath and a good nite's sleep.

DUDE!!

Glad you're okay. Hot bath and lots of alcohol to keep them muscles from getting too tight while you sleep.

HATERS GONNA HATE.

Hope you are OK? Hope you start feeling a little better, warm bath and drinks will help.

How is your wife. Carl went down recently and it freaked me out.

Go to the doctor, please! Carl's road rash from where his leathers ripped healed well...he finally went to the doctor for his thumb after 3 weeks...  It propably would make you wife feel better if you did. ;) ok and me too :)

Hope you both are well!

I'm doing good. It was a stupid..well, I don't of I want to call it..a mistake. I got out of work, started the bike to warm it up as I put on my helmet, took off about 5' and the bike stalled as I was turning in the parking lot. It was all in slow motion and I nearly saved it but I just couldn't do it as she fell on the left side. Minor damage. CRG is tweaked, clutch is scratched and shifter is bent. Luckily, 3 coworkers were out there and we all not the bike up on two wheels fairly quick. So, this was the weird thing. When I started the bike, the brights indicator light was on. No headlight. I flipped the switch a couple times and then it came on. Then the drop occured. After I left the parking lot...with a bruised ego...I pulled over cuz the brights light came on again and the headlight went out.  Thankfully, the sun was still out so I was just going to ride home without it on. As soon as I hit the highway, it came back on. I don't know how/if it ties in together but I'm doing fine. No cuts, bruises or broken bones. I'm just hoping nothing happened to the swingarm/chain because the bike felt different riding home. I could just be paranoid about it? I don't know. Having a drink now and took some meds to relax the muscles.

I would check your wiring harness nose to tail. sounds like you've got a short somewhere. It would be pretty terrible if you were mid corner @ 60mph and it stalled due to a short...

P...the MsIz is doing good. I wasn't even going to tell her it happened. She had to know though just in case there is a chance that something turns out to be wrong with the bike. Even though the incident was at practically no speed, it couldve been a lot worse. I was able to avoid having the bike land on me and the car I was next to. It was just surreal. Still shaking my head hours later in disbelief. I didn't do anything wrong. It just stalled. For what reason, I don't know?
