Tailbones heal, the guy should have come up w. a better reason than that for the sale.

I call BS . I think it went for a 284 mile joy ride.

Besides , you can ride year round in Fla. so all he has to do is wait 'til it would heal ( if it really happened  boo )

I think  the Guy thinks he can turn a fast profit due to the popularity of the Diavel and suspected scarscity ....but I think there are black ones in relative availability.

Getting rid of his bike due to a broken tail bone, I call BS. I have a broken tailbone, 2 smashed disks in my lumbar and a plate with 2 Cadaver bones in my neck and I still ride WITH the DP Low seat on my Monster.

Second that.  I've broken my tail bone in the past, and although it took a long time to heal, it healed.  I dont know what he paid for it but I'm assuming he's going to take a beating on it.

Jerry,

I know how painful Tailbones can be.

Mine bothers me every time I ride and I've never broken it.

Many years ago, my "coccyx" was broken twice (within about 4 years). I've got over 35 years (and 300k miles) in the saddle since then. Vino!

Was(/is) not a big deal, for me at least... It hurt like he!! for several days when I did it though (both times)! Shocked

Back in the mid 70s my girlfriend and I were lounging in the hammock on my front porch and one of the hooks it was attached to broke. I hit the concrete porch (with gf on top of me) on my tail bone and it broke. It was unbelievably painful for a very long time. And no, neither me or the gf were overweight! Angry It had no effect in later years but it did hurt for a really long time. I think I now know where they came up with the term "pain in the ass". laughingdp
