More gasoline.

I've now actually spent about as much on gasoline for the bike as the price of the bike was.

PhilB

If we assume an average price of gasoline per gallon at $2.5 over the past 2 decades, and mpg averaging maybe 40... that means you spent 12375 for your bike new... probably if adjusted for inflation...  Grin

Looking at the pics of the screws and nails in tires reminds me of a conversation we had at the NEDOC ride.Almost everyone has picked up something in their rear tire vs. the front. My theory is it happens because the rear tire is under power,so maybe the front tire just glides over it.I dread the thought of getting a flat front (knock on wood).

New ebay shorty levers (I'm inpressed with the quality for under $40)
Universial bar-end weights (from the local Honda dealer)
New bar-end mirror (doesn't fit but will go with Dual-STar mirror now)
Used (new to me) Motowheel clip on with riser (wrist and back getting use to it now)
New Arai Profile (Italian flag) helmet for me  Grin

I paid $10,200.  But I get closer to 50mpg, so that works out about even.

A set of BT-016's. 120/60 front and a 170/60 rear. Now I just need to figure out how to get them on without spending a small fortune.

Bought a set of gloves to replace the four year old Helds that got a little beat up a while back.

Get in touch with Artful.  He lives in Parkville (I think) and has all the gear to mount/dismount.

Just installed the Sport 100 body art kit, the Ducati short tail kit and a pair of CRG Arrow mirrors. I bought it all over the past few months but waited to install them all at the same time so I could really see a change in the look of the bike.  I'm real happy with the results.

Here's a picture of it before any mods were applied...

Looks great. Next step should be a nice Termi exhaust.
