It's not what I wanted, but it's what I could afford, and it'll do for now...

Is that the Harbor Freight? If so its a great price for a chest that size. Let us know how the quality is i.e. bearings on the drawers etc.

Yeah, Harbour Freight.

So far it seem fine; plenty sturdy.  It is brand new, but the drawer slides seem fine.

Not as nice as my Craftsman "Griplatch" tool chest, but at $99.00 it was also about 1/5th the price.

Most likely Woodcraft, but since I'm mounting them over the triple I might go with ones that are a little prettier since I don't need the three-piece design.

Good call, I know it's been a long time since this post i've been gone a while.... Did you ever finish your conversion? Sounds like you did pretty close to what I'm wanting to do. I'm getting back to the States soon and gonna start planning the work on my bike to maybe do this winter. Would loves to see some pictures of the outcome if you finished! And maybe any pointers you have after going through the process. Thanks man!!

Idle-air filter.

Ditching the airbox has required me to get filters for the crank-case and the idle air.  Turns out it's a bit more in-depth to do than I thought.

Well I placed my order with monsterparts.com today for a

Carbonworld Rear Hugger and tank covers.
Rizoma Fluid Reservoir x 3 in red
Rizoma Bars Gold
Rizoma Clutch Pressure Plate Red

I also ordered a Termignoni DP system in Carbon from Omaha Ducati and I bought a Ballistic 8 cell battery from my local PU dealer.

I can't wait for all of it to get here. I will post pics when I get in all installed. drink

I have just fitted ceramic coated headers to the s4 on recommendation of somebody on this site who I would like to thank. I found the header for sale at Ducati depot which are on your side of the pond and have nothing but praise for them I emailed them asking if the could get them ceramic coated for me and they said they could the deal was done and they were dispatched to me and afine job was done on them. Her are a couple of pics of them fitted.

Most boots don't have shoe laces.  Easy fix.

I don't get it.  Brave?  I've run mine without any cover at all for a couple of thousand miles now.  Not one problem.
