I add a ignition module that didn't work anymore ....(for the second time)  [bang] so I saw this wiring loom whit 2 ignitions modules on it on fleebay.... ;D  I took a chance and both are working fine.   it was from a 1997 monster.   Mine is from 1995 + I get a lot of small "spare's" like signal relay, general relay , fuse box, connectors [bow_down]

+ the amount of electrical tape on the original wiring was a Little bit alarming and the wire braid was crack   at a lot of places ....

install it today  :D everyting works  [thumbsup]

Very nice! I have the same bike and would be very interested to hear how you shortened the hugger. I was just thinking I want to do exactly that.

PS Do you want to keep that seat cowl? I have been searching very hard for the one you have.

Texas. Is that a racing stripe on it?

What happened to your touring seat?

Is your hugger painted glossy black?

it took 3 hours the first time ...lol  I add issues in the beginning  [bang]( rear red light didn't work)  [bang]  so I've reinstall the original one ....nope ...doesn't work [bang]

so restarted it  the  day after ... it took 10 min to take out the original -- 20 min to install the new one  :o  [thumbsup] ...once you know where everything goes it's a pretty easy job to do ....
consider that

you dint have to take out the regulator ...
you pop up the "ignition wires" ( there's just one connector that link all the ignition stuff  it's near the 30A fuse on the side of the battery box)

all the rear section ( tail and signal light's) can be disconnect whit one connector

:D [clap]

+ plus I re- routed the loom  ( photo's to come soon  [drink] )
