Hey, just a heads up, PM me when you do get the carbon fiber hanger and I will buy the Evotech one from you.  Hopefully at a "less than retail" price.   laughingdp

I will sell it at half off plus shipping when I get the other one ( :    Now I just have to ditch my "comfort" seat lol

+1 on the California Cycleworks belts. I'm going on my third year and 5,000 miles on my current set. I plan on changing them in one more year because they still look just fine. 1/2 the price of OEM.

I have always had a love hate relationship with the Dry clutch,  noisy, extra wear and tear etc etc.  But damn I love they way they look.  If my 2013 had one I would open the belt covers for sure.......  The upside is that no one stops me and tells me something is rattling off my bike.   laughingdp

Ha, a raccoon would actually provide better home security than that fur ball. Note the lack of rearset. Still waiting for my S*R rear brake lever to arrive. I've already powdercoated the rest of it, so I might just spray paint the lever (gasp) because I'm going through rider withdrawal.

Is that a PSR? I hope you didn't pay too much.

This is the factory that makes PSR stuff. The same plates are on ebay for as cheap as $60 often times. I'm certainly not knocking it...I buy a ton of it...just nothing with the PSR logo

So would you recommend this brand of plate? I've seen a lot of plates I like: Barnett, Speedy Moto, PSR, Rizoma...but they are mostly in the $150-$200 range. These seem like a steal for $60.00.

I honestly can't imagine any way they could be any less functional than a $250 plate. The anodizing is cheap, it tends to fade within a couple years, that's really it. I doubt any of the experts would disagree on that statement either.

It was actually PSR (Powerstands) that stole it originally, and had it reproduced in a Chinese factory. "The Chinese" aren't responsible for stealing anything. It almost always starts with an unscrupulous westerner.

What's kind of amusing about PSR is this; virtually EVERY Chinese made knock off you see in regards to motorcycle parts was originally made to have a PSR logo stamped on it. The CRG mirrors...Speedymoto PP's...the DP oil caps...everything PSR sells is a knock off. Most knock offs are either a white guy reverse engineering the product to begin with, or a company looking to save some cash and sending the blueprint to CN for cheap manufacturing in the first place, foolishly not realizing that it's bound to happen.

I got it from a member here for $75+shipping. So can't complain about the price. The PSR packaging says made in Taiwan, which I generally associate with higher quality products. That also made me believe that it wasn't just another chinese knock-off (and the fact that it had an original price tag of $210). If PSR just relabels/repackages the chinese knock-offs from ebay that is seriously deceptive, but it is good information for noobs like me to know (this is my 1st Ducati). Thanks

EDIT: I will note that the machining on it is quite low quality (rough edges, slight imperfections). You wouldnt notice this from normal viewing distances, but anyone looking at PSR should know that this is not a high quality product.

Oh, I'm sure the quality is fine. But it's been well known that PSR is a company built on stealing designs in a lot of moto circles. I've compared the PSR crankcase breathers side by side with the no name chinese ones...absolutely identical. Those were originally swiped from STM I believe. Slingshot Racing is another one that does the exact same thing as PSR. Just re-labels chinese ones. The only mistake I think you made with your PSR plate is paying too much...the ethical side is something that can be argued several different ways and I won't get in to that.

*edit- $75 isn't a bad price, I withdraw the "paying too much" comment
