Is there anything more exciting than the anticipation and agony of waiting on shipping for something you just purchased for your bike?
OK so I bought a set of Cylinder gaskets from ProItalia along with camshaft and valve cover o rings (a slow leak I've been meaning to fix.
Oh and this:

I had my welder friend make it for me. I got the inspiration off this website. He charged me 15 bucks.  bacon .
AND!!! I got the 1100 Clevis joint to make my 696 a little taller.

I'm not exactly sure either, but I think it allows a mechanic to use a ratchet for those "impossible to reach" places.

Some people would call it a crowfoot wrench, it is a home made tool that allows you to torque the head cylinders to spec. The ducati one is too expensive.

I just bought another Chinese knock off because I wanted something cheap to fill the ugly front axle hole.

Front fork "Carsh" sliders! hehe

Riding to Richmond this morning to have Dave Moss go through my suspension.  With any luck the new rear shock will enable the pre-load to be backed off maximu8m and I won't need new springs.  However if I have to put in new springs I would rather have Dave do it than most ( :

Update on ride quality this evening.

I spent 2 years in Richmond in my 20's and loved it there. Went back recently on business and was really dissapointed how all the old hangout spots and dive bars in my old 'hood were torn down or turned into crap like Jimmy Johns and Chipotle, but such is life. Still a dope city with cool peeps.

Storm,  You have a mighty fine ass......

That being said had Dave Moss tweak my suspension.  No need for new springs my dealer/suspension tuner was an idiot.  She rides like a bat out of hell now!

I've gotten parts from the factory in less than a week via DHL. Aftermarket is one thing, but since you are in Arlington, give Nathan a call at Duc Pond. A month I could see in August when Europe is closed, but not in May!

The shop called my parts came in today I guess under the Ducati employee purchase plan it takes longer?!?
