Just grabbed a carbon rear hugger, carbon chain guard and carbon exhaust shields from Monster parts. Was gonna grab the radiator cover but it was out of stock
My bike is like church, I have to pay my monthly tithe
Skybarney I just ordered the same from Jeff hahaha. Also some more.....it's my annual ritual now every spring/summer with Jeff! Got some reservoir caps as well. And the front carbon fender. Few more items too I can't remember. Just tons of cf stuff!! Will post pics once all installed! I can't wait

Shift Tech hugger does a great job for the shock, but if you can accept a hidden shock... there are those cheap sock type of protectors.
Or cut open a plastic bottle and zip-tie it over the shock ... you know that's the classiest option.

Nothing a Dremel could not fix.........
Unfortunately I lack; "Mad Dremel Skillz". Although I'm sure I could make it look...different.

Man I don't know about the sock or the bottle, I like seeing the shock, but in the progression from free, $16 to $225 sure gives me pause has to how much I need to see it lol. There is a guy on advriders.com who makes all his own carbon fiber stuff. Here he shows making his own bash plate, really cool, motivaes one to try something simple for fun:

Forgot I also ordered new grips from Monster Parts and will probably be getting some grip heaters.
I do have a question about the Rizoma fluid reservoirs, Do I have to get the brackets as well, or will they mount to my stock S2R 1K ones?

Picked up some new stuff and a good bit of used stuff from Adam (DrDesmosedici) on here. Only thing left to do is put on the used belly pan which will happen tonight if it isn't raining.
Used Rizoma clutch cover with the used DP pressure plate from Uncle MoFo:
Used Cycle Cat rearsets (old clutch cover):
New Oberon mirrors and ASV levers:
Used Power Commander 3:
Mercury head dime key fob I made for my keyring:

finally put on my fender eliminator/undertail kit. Night and day difference.
If it stays dry long enough, I'll actually remove the frame warning/info stickers, remove the chain guard, wash the daylights out of it, and take good photos. Until then, she looks like that.

Just realized I never posted these..and since I have bought a ton of stuff lately I feel like I should have posted something. So here is a pic of my clutch cover and then my feeble attempts at painting it. Sorry for the crap pic but the light was bad and the camera wouldn't lock on.

I do. When I was hooking up the whole thing in my living room, I thought it looked better. Once I put it all on the bike, I was torn and trying to fight the weather. I didn't spend the time switching it back to compare on the actual bike. I don't think it looks bad, but I don't think it looks good enough to counteract all the people who will inevitably say "you realize your tail light is upside down, right?"
I'll probably switch it back this weekend. We'll see. Luckily it all bolted together nice and easy, so it *shouldn't* be hard to reverse.

New Pirelli Rosso 2 tires. 4500 on first set, not bad and sticky enough to buy twice.
Damn bike is like crack......

2's are probably my replacement tires, so give me feedback. Really LOVE the Rosso's which came on mine.

I really like them. They roll in quite predictably and for riding the canyons around here they stuck incredibly well. Took them out on a couple of 100+ days and they never got that greasy feel that some other tires get. The front tire has never pushed on me and I only engaged the level 1 traction control on the rear twice, both times pushing pretty hard out of a turn.......
I am all about the tires and have ridden a fair number of flavors. This is one of the few times I have put the same kind of tires on twice in a row. It will take some kind of crazy advancement in rubber technology to make me want to research anything new. When they work this well I don't want to change them
I could have pushed them to 5k and still seen some shadow of tread, however I like fresh tires when riding alone.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure the dual compound didn't make them less grippy. The Rossos work great. Very old-school Metzeler Comp-K. Progressive and lots of warning. Agreed: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and oil and tires are cheap!
