For that price, if they last the rest of the year, you got a bargain. Buying them thru amazon will probably get you a return policy if they fail. Nice score.

Knock off Rizoma "reverse retro" mirrors...

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Toughness-Machined-Aluminum-Motorcycle/dp/B0083SL8AM/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1374687642&sr=1-1&keywords=rizoma+bar+end+mirrors

For this price I'm not expecting much, but we shall see...they claim to be billet?

I have these on my bike and the mirrors themselves are good quality (as opposed to the excellent quality of the Rizoma's), however, the paint finish wasn't soo good on mine.  Very thin...maybe 1 or 2 coats only.  Be careful during installation not to breathe too hard on them or they will scratch.

The other recommendation I have for you is to tighten them with a powered tool (as opposed to just the included tool).  I tightened as much as I could and it wasn't enough.  They moved at highway speeds...violently sometimes, slamming into my hands.

Personally, I love the look and the price.  I wasn't expecting AMAZING quality, so I was happy with what I got.  I live in Florida, without a garage, and while I keep my bike covered when not in use, I commute on the bike a lot.  I know I'm going to have to paint them again by the end of the year (fading).

Here are a couple of pics of my bike with the mirrors installed:

BTW Buck...what happened to: "I'm officially done with my bike"???

Ah c'mon little farkles don't count! Those never end.

BTW for those sanctimonius types; I feel slightly entitled here since I have real deal Rizoma rear sets. Besides...you can't copyright a damn mirror shape! I'll fasten them with my Rizoma end caps and they'll look real :P

Buck,  Feeling a little defensive?    ;D

Real men don't need mirrors.
Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.
Feel free to PM me if needed, otherwise you will find me elsewhere.

Yea maybe?!? So what! Haha.

Oh btw FLL_D your bike looks great! And so do the mirrors!

Barney I actually have always liked the no mirrors-blinkers-front fender look.

Givi tank-lock bag I scored on Ebay for $50.00. The white stripe around the lid must act as a reflector.

These tank-lock systems are slick, it literally takes less than five seconds to attach or remove.

Duster, please let me know your experience with it at highway speeds.  I've been meaning to get one for a while but I ride on the highway a lot and was afraid the mounting point is too small and the bag sticks out too high and would be affected by the wind.

Looks like you got yourself a good deal for $50

I've got the huge one, and it sticks just fine at 80 on the clocks.  It's actually better than the strap mount bag I used to use.

The bag I bought is a semi-hard bag, so it holds up well at high speeds. The tank-lock is incredibly solid. I trust it more than magnets or straps. The only thing I might be worried about is that I could inadvertently trigger the release switch while riding at higher speeds. The release switch sticks out a bit past the bag, and with a pair of gloves on my clumsy hand might accidentally hit it.
