That's a darn good looking headlight.

Thanks :) I spent a lot of time fussing with that part of the bike and and I might actually be done now....although I kinda wish I'd anodized or coated the cup washers. Oddly enough the $2 low profile A4 screws are my favorite part.

Some CNC Racing (such a dumb name) headlight collars...only cuz I had to.

BTW, DJ asked about the guy who made these brackets...and I can now attest to the quality. They are beautiful and very well made. And the weave works with my carbon bucket very well.

Where did you buy those from? Looks awesome would like to see some shots of the whole setup when you get it mounted with the LED light.

This is all I have at the moment, it doesn't show the entire setup but you can see the Truck-Lite and billet adapter ring from Motowheels (DON'T get the light from Motowheels...it is absurdly over priced through them)

I had to troll eBay.it for these brackets. I'll see if I can find a link to his ebay store.

Alternatively you could pick up a Carbonworld set from Jeff @ Monsterparts. Dunno if they'd be as nice as these tho, and def more expensive.

Edit: here's his page; http://m.ebay.com/sch/newcarbontech/m.html?_pgn=1&isRefine=true

Although it appears he doesn't have anything listed. I missed out on the first pair he had up and had to wait for these to re-appear. I imagine he's making another set.

Our sponsors pay the bills around here so you get to post for free.

You might consider that before you constantly gripe about their pricing and quality. Some of our members value the contribution they make both in paying the bills here and providing sources for products that they desire and don't feel like scouring the internet for the cheapest for the cheapest price.

This is the second time you've gone after motowheels specifically, and now you've added Monsterparts to your list.

The pivot for the fuel pump currently has me stumped but it's some eclectic type of shoulder screw, I'll find it somewhere if I figure out what it's called.

Black better than plated?

... and.. if you can use the bolt from the RCS masters, the selection includes titanium.

Hrrm, maybe I should've chosen different words. I love both of those companies *for the most part and def would never "go after" Monsterparts. :)

Lars, the bolt I'm talking about looks like this:

I have a bit of an obsession with finding out the actual name and function of all of Ducati's "special screws" and eclectic hardware so I can find stainless/Ti/alloy alternatives. For example what they call a spacer is a sleeve bearing,  "pin" is a standard shoulder bolt, headlight "special screws" are low profile hex cap screws etc.

It's not like Ducati invents and engineers their own little unique shoulder bolt to perform one simple task on only one of their bike models. It exists in some other industry and has a name, I just need to find it out.

It's for mounting the vaccum fuel pump on carbie Monsters..the upper hole mounts using a sleeve bearing, rubber grommet and cap screw. The lower uses this. I already have Sato bendy brackets for my RCS reservoirs, although I like the OE look of the ones in that kit. I may get just the brackets, Kurvey Girl sells them individually.

Or I may get the RCS mirror mounts and use em for reservoirs instead of mirrors.

The amount of cash I've blown on little trivialities like this is insane...it costs a lot of $$$ to be OCD.
