A nos fuel level sender that is meant for a 748, but has the same dimensions, thread pitch and wiring connector as every other Monster sender I've seen, and is virtually identical in appearance to the 90's Monsters with the only difference being power and ground wiring for an F.I fuel pump. Really looking forward to seeing how this works out. Seems substantially more well made than the plastic towers. All aluminum construction including the nut.

Also picked up a NOS factory tool kit, lol. It was only $12! Smiley I'm building a "new" 0 mile bike and those come with tool kits Tongue. Where the heck do these go anyway? I've never seen what looked like a natural stashing spot for em.

A NOS sump screen. The seller also had lightweight ones designed for the superbikes for only $17 that are the same size and thread, but I didn't really like the idea of this part having a plastic base and plastic nut...I like metal parts between my engine oil and the atmosphere.

Found a brand new Vizi-Tec SupaNova on da 'Bay at a price I couldn't refuse...

Once upon a time I psshh-awed at the idea of such a pricey tail light, but I've come around. $200 was much easier to swallow than it's normal price.

I'll let you and everyone else know how it goes, DT.

The V1 looks *slightly cooler imo and probably plenty bright but they're long gone so it doesn't really matter. I do kinda dig how easily distinguishable this one is from the cheapo integrated lights. Fancy!

A fantastic bit of kit from Vizi-Tech, what a lucky purchase... waytogo

I've fitted three to monsters over here in the UK, and the quality is outstanding... bow down

My only premature complaint is that the lens isn't made out of a really high quality polymer like Lexan  (or is it?) Or better yet, Gorilla Glass

My experience with the cheapo is the glass is the least of your concern and even with my level abuse is rugged enough. The board and soldering on the other hand...

I had a lens pop off a cheapy. Siliconed it back on...and you must retain the rubber grommets + sleeve bearings especially if you have a tail chop, I had the stud snap off and take the chunk of plastic it was mounted to with it. Or maybe it was the other way around.  They are actually pretty good lights tho for $30.

I like glass just because it's nice.

Even tho I certainly don't need it, I knew I wasn't gonna stop wanting it. Once you've used one, the $9 Harbor Freight model just feels like a turd.

And some battery wire making goodies;

so I may not have just bought them, but they are still frikkin new, and just sitting in the shed until I make time to keep the project ticking over....

Fast By Ferracci (Wiseco) 12.5:1 high comp pistons. these things are beautiful! and so cute, they come in their own little bag like a helmet bag haha. slight gain from stock 9:1 compression Dolph

NOS cush drive rubbers for the new-to-me rims I picked up too. these are buried in a box under some stuff so no good pics yet.

NOS cluster with DP tacho. stoked to pick this up, complete with LED mod done for me already Grin I just need to source a KM/H faceplace for the speedo, hopefully in grey to match. stock is white.

some FCR39's. 2nd hand from Germany, but looks like they've been cleaned up already. not gonna pretend I have any idea how to tune these, luckily I know one of the best at it!

NOS clutch basket and drive gear, to go with the Barnett plate kit I picked up a couple of years ago.

IMA Mod1 Triple Clamp set with risers. these are the newer Mod1's in 7075, not 6082 T6. I assume this is a good thing haha. so stoked to have these in my hot little hands, I have been lusting over them for years.

freshly painted gloss black steel swingarm. its so shiny! mucch better than stock silver IMO. good encouragement for the semi blackout plans too. now the rearsets and frame need to match...
