You should not be so eager to have your team play either of those programs. It will only end badly for your team. The SEC (west) is the most frightening conference in CF.

You misread my post. There is no way that the Wolverines are remotely ready or will be ready to face down any of the top 10 teams this season.
The "wolves" I was referring to were Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, etc.
Wisconsin is the best threat offensively but their defense will suffer versus 'bama or LSU's offenses. The SEC west has a very methodical offensive play style.
The Big 12 teams don't really have any strong challenges this season and the Big 10 teams are pretty one sided this year...whether it be the Michigan State defense or the Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan offenses. None of those teams are real strong threats on both sides of the ball.

But once the BCS computers start churning out their rankings, I think only Alabama or LSU will be standing strong at the top of the pile.

Ah. Gotcha.

ALRIGHT!!!!  Who scheduled The Red RIver Rivalry so early in the day?!?!?  THe same for LSU/ Florida?  Instead, who do we get for the night games????  Ohio State/Nebraska  [puke] and Auburn/Arkansas (meh).

Some awful interesting games today but nothing in the top 10 that wasn't expected...although, I really didn't think Texas was going to lose that bad.

For the first half of the OSU/Nebraska game, I was pretty sure that OSu was finding their groove for the rest of the season but the second half that Martinez and Burkhead put together was pretty spectacular. I found it funny that the commentators on ABC/ESPN were saying that Burkhead isn't a fast runner nor is he a power runner but he is a good all around runner. That boy has a pretty good future as some NFL team's workhorse back.

Had my neighbor from across the street(also a Michigan fan) over to watch UofM vs NW and about midway through the 2nd quarter he looks over at me and says, "We're gonna lose this one aren't we?"
I sort of shrugged but the team that came out of the locker room was a team possessed. It literally was like the opposite of the team from last week in the first half and then the team that played last week showed up in the locker room at half time and apologized that they were late.
But the first real test will be Sparty's stingy D. If they can make it past MSU at MSU with a win, things won't get really interesting again until the last 3 games of the season with Illinois being a tough call at this point, Nebraska looking like the same kind of team and Ohio State always being a tough call until after the final whistle blows.

I am hoping the AP adjusts their view of Oklahoma tomorrow when they do their rankings. OK, LSU and Alabama all look unstoppable at this point but at least we know for certain that either LSU or Alabama will be stopped for certain on November 5th.
WIll be interesting to see how things shake out between now and then and then after that game...

First time in a very long time that no big 3 Florida team won this weekend.  :o

Was a headscratcher for a while there. Looks like TMart finally got his sea legs. He's an impressive young man when he's on his game.

So Spurrier finally cuts Stephen Garcia loose. Tested positive for alcohol and marijuana. 4 1/2 half seasons and he cuts him loose. I'm not sure who is crazier... Garcia, or the Head Ball Coach.

I'm going w/ Garcia as the one who is nutty as a squirrel turd.

I am mixed...I mean Spurrier should have dropped the distraction before it became one.
And Garcia had his head buried so far up his ass...well anyway, distraction gone.
