Ducati Marchesini 10 Spoke Cast Aluminum Rear Wheel Black designed for the 749/999. Will it fit an S2R?
Understanding that it will not give me a performance upgrade. This is purely a cosmetic move. Will this bolt directly in to my S2R 800?

Pretty sure it will
The front will not.

Yes, yes I know.
BST looks like winner winner chicken dinner but not sure about dropping 2-3K on them and with DC streets being what they are not sure I could deal with a crack rim heartbreak.
I hear a HM rear wheel will bolt right up and is less expensive. That might be an option come winter time or something....

Check out the Carrozzeria wheels. The black ano V-Tracks look great, are light, and price competitive.

I love my BSTs (really, I do) but they are only worth it if you are going to ride the bike with a (fair) bit of anger in your wrist. The difference they make in the bike's handling is eye-opening, but... It comes with a steep cover charge.

+1 on BST. INCREDIBLE.
Meanwhile, look for any 748-916-996-998 wheels. Front and rear are interchangeable. 848 rear wheels bolt right up, but not the front.

So back to this wheel thingie again. Was at the mechanics this afternoon to drop off the Hyper/848 rear wheel I picked up and the mechanic looked a little puzzled as they are doing maintenance and some other bits on the bike. For some reason they don't think it will clear the swingarm and I will have to use a spacer blah blah blah to get it to work. Shouldn't it bolt right up?

Hyper Evo/848 Rear - 180/55 ZR17
Am I missing something or do I need more pieces to get this to work on the Monster?
