Replacement wallets
«
on:
July 11, 2011, 08:02:19 PM »
I've had the same wallet for the past 9 years. I need something new. Most of you guys probably have the same problem with ahving a TON of junk in your wallet and its so damn big it gets annoying to even carry around.
Have anyone of you found a suitable replacement? Like a money clip or a super thin wallet?
I only need to lug around 1 credit card, ID, maybe 4-5 bills, and 2 other plastic cards.

So you just stare decidedly at vendors until they give you stuff for free?
I might have to try that.

Leslie's bringing back hip bags in Austin. Those are always an option. Actually, I think Krolik wears one.

I love my wallet.
It came with a tank bag.
I clean out all the extraneous bullshit from it frequently.

+1 on Fossil wallets. High quality that lasts a long time, lots of places to put things and not expensive at all.

I've got a rayskin wallet - they are darn near indestructable, and look cool IMHO.

I gave up on wallets 20+ years ago. Believe it or not I use a medium size binder clip from Office Depot. Works great as a money clip and I can change colors if I want to!
Drove my ex-wife crazy. I think she bought me two different wallets one year as gifts but I never used them.

I carry a wallet, used to carry a money clip though. I've got a nice engraved clip. The current wallet, that has taken a ton of abuse is a Geoffrey Beane that I found at Wal-Mart. It's you basic single-fold wallet, license sleeve, space for 12 cards and of course a full-length bill area.
