I gave up on wallets 20+ years ago. Believe it or not I use a medium size binder clip from Office Depot. Works great as a money clip and I can change colors if I want to! laughingdp Drove my ex-wife crazy. I think she bought me two different wallets one year as gifts but I never used them.

thats hilarious. i would love a wallet as a gift, but ultimately im trying to get away from mine. I hate carrying it aorund. Ill take a look at the links here later tonight.

Are money clips or ultra slim wallets better for carrying the bare essentials. I feel like if i had a money clip, my ID would fall out if i pull a bill out or something.

I carry a cheap Samsonite business card folder that I got at office max for $10

i hate large wallets, and it forces me to economize on what I am carrying around with me.

I've been using Tumi wallets for about 10-12 years.

First leather, but that ends up streatching a little.

In the last 7-8 years I swtiched to the ballistic nylon, no complaints.  One of the few non-leather wallets that still looks like a big boys wallet.

i hate carrying a wallet too, but feel it's a necessity to have all the stuff it holds.  however, for times when i think i'll be safe economizing my wife got me a gucci card case wallet.  i couldn't find the exact one but it's similar to the one in the link below.  it's got a middle section where you can put some cash, then a slot on both outer sides for cards.  i carry my license, 2 ATM/credit cards, my health insurance card, and some cash.  it's super thin and can fit into any pocket without feeling bulky.  and i feel it's more secure than having all my stuff in a money clip.

now if only i could find a way to slim down my key chain  Roll Eyes

Make sure you only get a magnetic one if you plan on carrying No plastic.
A magnetic money clip can make the strip on the back of your card useless.

Been using one of these for years, i like the magnetic ones better, and it doesn't harm my credit cards.

... binder clips. And when I slim the stash down to the basic id, charge card and a few bills I can go with a smaller binder clip. We're talking cheap and efficient here... and colorful!! laughingdp
