Best thing about a Ducati Monster

Owning an 1100 EVO I don't have that problem.     I can smoke pretty much any car on the road easily.

  so true.   I got guys on r6, r1 asking me about top end etc.  LOL

the fast and furious (cars) drivers ask me if it is faster than their suburu wrx etc  LOL

I just crack up.  This is a 620, the top end is crap.  It ain't in the same league. 

Falls on deaf ears anyhow.

Anymore I just laugh to myself and say that it's the fastest bike I've ever ridden. 

But I did lay down the law on a couple of kids in a WRX.

Buell is okay, I'm actually looking at the 1125R for a track bike possibly. I was a gas station, just finished and was paying, the attendant says" nice Harley", I just smiled and said "it is not a Harley." I wasn't offended, it was a compliment.

but, to stay on topic, the best thing about a ducati monster is.... it's a ducati monster! excellent base for anything you might want it to be, and even stock, it... er... used to be a gorgeous bike.

i love the sound. i have i monster 900 with shorty d&d pipes and i just cant get enough of hearing that engine roar. i dont ride one for a chick magnet, and always tell chicks wanting a ride that my bike is a one seater haha.
