Wreck? Hell that's ruination. The rider survive?

Yes if that was from that press/media thing track day the other day where an East Coast guy smashed one up.  I don't have the details, but I'm pretty sure it's in the other 1199 thread in this forum with the pics of the lines of them.

I guess the traction control still can't save everyone that wants to trash the bike.

Looks like the rider was sitting up before the bike even stopped bouncing.

TC can't help with losing the front.

First wreck?

That would make a nice winter project in 20 years Grin  Hope the rider is okay.

I will say this. I think the 1199, when it says, totalled, it's totalled.
A salvage 1199 may have cracked cases, etc. hell, a dropped 1199 could have issues.

I'd like to know the insurance rate for such bike.  I'm guess $2,000 to $3,000 per year.  First one who takes delivery post up.

Was just up at Rockwell cycles in NY state and saw them putting together a panigale... it's pretty damn gorgeous in person.  They were saying that it was def harder to unbox because of how compact everything is now.

Funny thing was that when the techs were putting it together, we were commenting that putting on the passenger pegs was just a crime.  Then another tech chimes in and say to not bother putting it on... the guy who bought that one will never use it.  Because his wife bought a matching one at the same time.  haha.

Every guy stopped for a second and thought... damn.  i want a wife like that. haha
