Bit of a product review
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Black-Billet-Replacement-Adjustable-Foot-peg-Ducati-Monster-695-696-1100-796-S-/321000403654?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4abd1d72c6#ht_2926wt_907
The Missus wanted new pegs so I thought I would give these a go.
Cheap , fast delivery and seem good quality .
Although I doubt the powdercoating is up to to much abuse.
I used blue Loctite on the peg bolt as I didn't trust them staying done up without.
Good alternative to expensive rear sets still giving you some positional adjustment while still being foldable.
Seem to be available for most model Monsters and other bikes.
They also sell pegs without the position adjustment .
I give them three

Nifty design.

My brother changed my clutch basket from a stock steel item to a good condition second hand Barnett item.
He did some more tinkering with mixtures and idle here and there.
AND changed my timing belts. THEN! We discovered the bolt that holds the tensioning bearing against the belt (front cylinder) was threaded. We ran out of time to sort it today, so I rode his Monster home whilst mine stayed in his garage!
Tomorrow, the on site hellicoil dude will be called to come and sort it!
Then I'll get to test the lighter reciprocating mass of the new clutch set up!

Well the helicoil dude wasn't contactable! My bro did the job himself!
I remembered that one of the rear brake caliper bolts also needed some attention, so two new stainless bolts sorted that out okay.
A bit of chain tensioning here and there, some trickle charging of the battery and all's good.
Just need to ride over tonight on his bike and make the swap.

EVR 48t clutch fitted. Well made unit. Not rocket science, just 100x better system than original 12t jobbie.
Took forever to get from Spareshack but Monster parts didn't have any. Oh well. Got it now. Took no time to fit too, made my own fitting tools, again, not hard. Just some 1.6mm flat gal sheet, hacksaw, drill press and a file. Once I had the tool done it was a really easy job.
New pressure plate bearing, new clutch slave cyl bearing, blead the clutch, new shorty leavers, lil monsters ready to fight another day.

Used it at Eastern creek working as a Track and flag marshal for Top Rider coach and set up day with Paul
Removed some of that anoying rubber off the edge of the tyre .
Watched Paul mix it up on his Monster with the fast group

Bled the front brakes and clutch.
Much better. Should have seen the crud in the bottom of the clutch reservoir. Unreal. Took a while to clean out, but much smoother action now.
Brakes weren't anywhere near as cruddy, but a bit of the misty phlegm looking stuff in there! LOL!
ALSO
Added some spring preload to the front forks. Just a little soft. Riding the bro's bike had me liking the feel of his a tad, so I firmed mine up a little. It's great having a brother with a similar bike. It allows you to compare here and there.

Yeah can't believe how quite the clutch is on mine now! Engine temp is noticeably down too! I got mine from Monster Parts - sorry must of grabbed the last one!
Put new tires on yesterday - Michelin Pilot Road 2 - $400 for the pair fitted!
Just noticed my rear brake master cylinder not working....
