Welcome Scott.
Nice bike. Of the newer Monsters, I like that color combo the best.

Hi everyone,

New to the Monster forum. Riding a 2010 Monster 696 and living on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.
I don't expect I'll get on the forum too often but have a few questions to ask. And am always keen for a cruisy weekend ride.

Hi Brian,
Yep it's me - Steen's been reminding me to log on and introduce myself so I finally got around to it.

Cheers,

I'm going to re-introduce myself. Login didn't work for about 2 years, including resetting password. I've occasionally browsed as a guest but really haven't kept up with the forum.

I smash rocks for a living, live in the city of the roundabout (Canberra), ride an 06 S2R10000 though between myself and the gf we have, er, quite a few bikes in the garage. The Monster is ridden hard track or road, though I've mainly been riding on the track for the last year.

Hi,

I met Paul and Brian at Pie in the Sky today and was sent to this corner of the DMF as punishment for finding a speck or two of dust on Brian's S4R...

The formal intro:

Name: Andrew AKA Stealth

Ride: Monster S4RS: Tail chopped, ExBox, CF hugger, 14t front, mirrors, levers, blinkers done. More to come..

Do: Doctor- anaesthetist and aeromedical rescue/retrieval

Think: This bike may well bankrupt me...

Good to meet up with some quality company Andrew and not the regular riff raff generated from our coastal region that i have to put up with in here.       Roll Eyes
As for the specks of dust you spotted,.........i'm sick and tired of Paul ashing his cigarettes upwind of my bike, my apologies for his dirty habit. Maybe you can help him there...?

"Doctor- anaesthetist and aeromedical rescue/retrieval"       No bloody wonder you could nearly mix it with me.....   coffee   Are you sure that you don't also own an MV  ?      Cool

On a slightly more serious note ( if thats now at all possible ), welcome aboard, you will find everyone in here always willing to offer advice and help. A tight knitted bunch, us Sydney and surrounds people.
If you have Saturday the 5th of May vacant and have a yearning for burnt carcinogenic Coles variety sausages, then check out the thread  re "Jukies Shed Opening".
They live near Kariong so its not too far for you to travel
