Found popcorn but no donuts dammit.
Hey everyone, long time lover of Duc's and first time owner (well my wife is)
Aaaanyway my name is Jamie I'm 40 and I live in a coastal on the far south coast of NSW called Merimbula with my wife Glenda and two skids Madison 11 and Bailey 5
Just recently purchased a 620ie '06 for my wife who is mad on monsters.
I have been riding dirt bikes most my life and have decided to give it up before I fall in love with a tree for good
Sold my YZ 400's and bought my wife a cheap Hyosung (don't laugh it did the job) so my wife could get her bike licence.
We now fight for who can get their gear on first to take the Monster out for the first ride on the weekends. Next year i should be looking at getting a 900ie or a S4R.
I'm hope to share my experiences with these wonderfully mechanically raw bikes. One thing I notice is their is way fewer ego's than what MX has. A true camaraderie on the road.
Ill stop know before too much dribble comes out
Cheers,
Jamie

G'day Jamie, welcome aboard... This is a great spot to share experiences or learn from those who have had more of them.

g'day all,
I'm from Brisvegas, just got my first Duc, a stock Monster 696.
I'm fresh off my restricted license, previous bike was a 250 ninja.
Have fitted speedy moto frame and axle sliders, moto deluxe bar end mirrors and pro grip grips and reflective wheel tape so far. Belly pan, exhaust and touring seat to come.
Cheers,
Matt

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”

Hi, Patrick ( svoloch ), here. I'm an expat from the US, sold my 999 and BMW stateside, picked up an '09 Streetfighter S here. I'm located in Coogee, and I'm pretty sure someone threw a banana at me.
Cheers,
Patrick

alright, noted. no Coogee bay hotel sundaes. The beer seemed ok, though.
