G'day all

Name: Stu
Ride: '03 monster M620ie
Live: Recently moved to Sale VIC

Been a member for a little while, got some good info from the forums
Haven't before made a post on this forum, been pretty busy moving etc

While I'm at it can any Victorians recommend a shop to get my bike serviced in the Gippsland area?

Cheers

Welcome along Stu.

Glad to have another lurker pop in.
Hope the move settles quickly and you can explore your new surroundings.

Cheers

Sale, brilliant, it's only an hour away from the start of the Great Alpine Way  [moto]

I lived in Traralgon for 3 years in a previous life, but have no idea where you could get a Ducati serviced around there.

Thanks all,

Spider the best rides i've found so far are Licola Rd and Dargo Rd in the Snowy Mountains still loads of exploring to do. If anyone wants some info on rds in the Gippsland area be happy to tell you what I know.

Cheers,

the road that links Bena to Poowong and then Athlone through to Drouin is good....the first part from Bena for 3 kms is twisty and closed in and has black cockatoos on the side...good fun!

Wilsons Prom is also a great ride through Buffalo, Stony creek and then lunch at the Koonwarra store.

and from Moe to Walhalla is fantastic in the summer time too....then go back via Tyers/Tralalgon.

next summer I want to hit great alpine range through to Omeo...then Bairnsdale, sale etc.

all good waytogo

I'll be in that as long as you leave out Bairnsdale to Sale or have a better option than the hwy.   Vino!

Hey Spider, I rode the Great Alpine Road on my pushbike once.  You'll really enjoy it. waytogo

day 2 Albury to Omeo via Bright
day 3 omeo to Leongatha via bairnsdale, sale and wilsons prom
day 4 back to melb
