one day I'll figure out how to post multiple pics
Well one Rendang.  Just do the insert image again in the same post and paste the next pic url between the codes and you will have them all in the same post.

Lovely bike too.  waytogo

Hi,

My name is Jason from Adelaide Hills.

Bought a Monster S2R 1000 about 6 months ago and love it!   I like to keep this bike as standard as I can but have made some subtle changes i.e. runs full Termi system (no cats), modded chip, open airbox, TPO clutch spacer kit. Big step up from my Ducati Pantah 650 I had 5 years ago!  Always loved Monsters since they first came out and always wanted one, and this one is excellent.

Hi Spider, yes, but I'm onto the bling pushers around here. Wink First they urge you to toke on a little "harmless" carbon fibre, then its the occasional weekend "recreational" performance enhancer, next thing your ripping out your neighbours flatscreen and raiding your wifes bank account to pay for an uncontrollable bling habit laughingdp. . . . having said that, I just order'd a marving SS mid pipe cat eliminator and the shotgun style mufflers. . . . but its no problem, I can give up anytime, easy.

Hi Jason.  Welcome to the forum.  Refreshing to see someone NOT from NSW.  Grin

You have some nice roads round your way too.  Was there for the Ducati Turismo in 2008. Gorge Road was very enjoyable.  [moto]

Who are you trying to kid - you've been lured and there's no hope for you now.

Tony from Melbourne Victoria

Ride a '95 M900 that's had some stuff done to it, and a retired race bike, VFR 400 for track days.

Thinking about changing jobs.

Hi Tony. Extra special warm welcome for someone from Vic.  Kiss  About time.

Once you get settled would be nice to see some pics of your bike. If you have problems posting pics, like many of us did initially, try this: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=109.0.

Thanks - and yes we do have some nice roads.  As I work in the city I get to ride through the hills to and from work - nice way to unwind from a hard day at the office  Grin

G'day everyone.

I have recently bought a Sportclassic GT1000. Was originally planning on buying a Monster 1100S, but when I saw the GT1000 it was love at first sight! Picked it up last Sunday and I just love it! (Yes, the dealer, Metro Honda & Ducati at Ringwood, Vic actually opened the shop on Sunday for me cause I couldn't get there any other time. Top Effort!) What an awesome motor these things have. Bought it with the Termi kit but that won't arrive till mid February so that's another thing to look forward to.

I came off a Suzuki GSX1400 which I had for two years. Nice bike but with a Ducati you really know you're riding!

My wife, Kaz, owns a Monster 696 which we bought new about 6 months ago. She absolutely loves it. So we're a real "Ducati" family!

Hope to see some of you out on the road.

Hooroo, Woodsy.
