The rider isn't real either, he's a figment of my imagination. Isn't that right Jukie.

G'day all
Name's Chris, I live in Newcastle, and have just joined the Monster fold with the purchase of a 2009 M696 that I'm planning to race in the F3 nakedbike class of Formula Extreme.
I've never raced before, so this will be the debut. I've done a few trackdays on my other Ducati (848). I tossed up racing it, but thought I'd rather start in the lower class, get a season or so under my belt, and see where I go from there.
I see a few familiar names here - Dock, Oz. I think I've met you, Matty at EC?
Anyhow, keen to soak up as much info as I can get.
Oh, the Monster was a repairable write-off, but in remarkable nick. A few scuffs on the tank, some mild rashing to the LHS engine case, bent bars and a damaged left fork. It came with termis and a race ECU, as well as all the stock mufflers & bits. The fork's repaired now, I've got bars on the way, and am now prepping it to take to Eastern Creek on the 12th of June. Debut race is on the 1st weekend in July.

Hey Chris,
Welcome along, it's a nice home here.
We have met a couple of times EC and at Oz's place when loading bikes to head to PI.
Congrads on the 696 hope the new racing career will be fun, I'm sure there will be lots of enjoyment in it.

Thanks all.
Yes, I thought it was you, Mattyvas, that I'd met at Oz's house. You were picking up a bunch of bling, from memory!
StephenC, I'm in Adamstown Heights. You in Newie too?
