Welcome Gragra to the fold.

S2R1000 is a nice bike to own but the new technology closed loop system is a little hard to fool. Once sorted the engine performs well for an air cooled engine.

Anyway ask away

Rob

Oh and I will be in Thailand in September.

Hey Ozzys4r,

Welcome along it is a pretty cool place.
I think many people will beg to differ on the handling of a Monster over Jap's
As to my exhaust it was on the bike when I got it, but you can get it from US or Europe but I think it's 06-07 only.

Thanks for the welcome notes, people Smiley

My issue right now is ECU related (isn't it always the way with the S2R1K?) - and I have now pulled the pin on a new/used DP unit from Desmo-Porsche.

I will be sure and post up the full story and results on the ECU thread once I install and sort it out.

If all goes well, I may have a small plot of swampland that I was keeping as a burial site for the S2R1K,  and a Fat-Bastard Manipulator to sell.... Vino!

Oh yeah....GO THE BLUES!!! waytogo

You shouldn't have yelled so loudly. You frightened them.

Golly, didn't they take a thrashing last night.  Huh?

Hi GraGra,

2006 was a good year for me in 620 land. Look forward to reading about your S2R

As a queenslander.. have to say the game wasn't that bad after all.  Cool
