Hi everybody,

Count me as 101. My name is Tony and I hail from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I have many friends who ride Ducati so I picked up a 620 Monster (LAMS) to do my learners on. Couldn't come at buying a Jap as I have been spoilt. Look forward to some good times on my 620. Might see you on the road. Cheers...

Hi all.

Signing in from up in Katherine in the N.T. I have been lurking about here for sometime prior to grabbing myself a 620 to do the licence game on.

Cheers,
Droopz.

Welcome to here Droopz.
Wow, another 620 "L" plater.
At least you've seen the light right from the start.

Good luck with the license.

Thanks mate.

I know the 620s are little in the duc world, but it is still one of the physically largest of all the LAMs naked options. At 6'3" I look a bit like a gorilla mounting a chihuahua but it's a comfortable and easy ride.

Had the bike 3 days now and already stuck into it. Sliders, bar end mirrors, integrated tail light, partial tail chop (full to come), Dan Moto cans and a bunch of neglected maintenance.

Now it's just tidy up and ride, ride, ride. Cheesy

Firstly, welcome Pete!

Rob, let it be known that I sit firmly on the fence between  drink and coffee. I'm a little on the picky side for both, but hey, when I discover what I like, I don't do it my halves!

Mmmm very interesting Nick. All I see is talk about coffee snobs around here. coffee

Hmm, thought i had already introduced myself locally but it appears not. So here goes.

Hello all

My first Duc, 2010 M1100, picked it up late Jan. Previously banging around Arthurs Seat on a GSX650

I haven't put a single K on it yet due to license restrictions but my package, which was really good and for a limited time hence the early purchase, was the full Termi kit including pipes, ecu and filters, 14t, vented cluch cover & anodised plate and DP shorty FE. God knows what is next, probably some CF I suspect.

I spend most of my riding hours around the Mornington Peninsula at Flinders, the "Seat", Gembrook and anywhere there are decent curves, good roads and top coffee  coffee. When the weather is good I ride into the city for work.

Talk to you all laters.

G'day Sundog
You have some nice roads to ride. And there are some OzMos local to you.

I get over that way occasionally. I'm over in west Vic near the (currently flood destroyed  Cry) Grampians.
