I found another nice one that was Carbon, but i couldn't justify the cost as i was going to paint it anyway.

I cant wait either.

Hello All,

Been lurking for awhile now thought it was time to join in.

Old time rider that hasn't been in the saddle since my '95 ZX9 went to heaven. Have always lusted after and wanted a Ducati.

Well the mid-life crisis bell has started to ring (again !!!) and I will be picking up an M1100S on the weekend  Grin

Can't wait to get in the saddle again (will take some time to get up to the speed limit waytogo) and can't wait to start adding some bling!

Looking at all your bikes has got the juices flowing again. Have some bling plans and will update you as they come to hand.

Come from the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and will be looking forward to catching up with some of you around the traps.

Kind Regards,
J.

Hey guys

I am new to the forum and thorugh I'd introduce myself.

I'm a 32 year-old French guy who's been living in Australia for over 6 years. I live in Sydney and have just put a deposit on my new ride: a red 2012 M1100 Evo. I test rode the beast a couple of weeks ago and didn't want to give the keys back to the dealer...

I have been riding for a little bit over 3 years and am just addicted to it. I used to ride a Triumph Street Triple but I crashed it last year because of some idiot changing lanes at last minute without looking or indicating... I thought I'd stay away from bikes for a little while and bought a car. Didn't work. I missed riding too much so I jumped the gun and bought a new bike. I used to love my ST but I have always dreamt of owning a Monster.

I am looking forward to picking up my new bike and joining any Sydney-based Monster owners for a ride.

Cheers

Julien

Welcome aboard Julien ... should be plenty of group riding opportunities in the coming months.

How long until the new beast arrives?

Welcome Julien, bike sounds cool.

Dee, the pics of the belly pan will be a few days, as i had a small mishap with the paint.

Apart from that it looks great.
