Has Berger never been sponsored by Effenbert?

Berger, Smrz, and Guintoli are the existing/remaining Effenbert/Liberty Ducati riders...always been...last year Berger had different sponsorship...can't remember which team it was...but I remember that rear wheel breaking on his bike coming onto the main straight at 1 round last year...their 4th rider is the one that is out with spinal cord injuries

I never realized it was two separate teams.

I think it sorta is and sorta isn't...due to the rules saying two riders per team....but I don't think there is a rule to the number of bikes that a sponsor can flagship...so maybe 1 team is specifically Liberty Effenbert and the other is Effenbert Liberty for to get around it all?!?!?!

When I first read the results I missed the Effenbert reference on Berger. bang head

 bow down

Just when I think moto2 is the most exciting race series, WSBK pulls out 2 races like this.  Literally action packed from start to finish for both races.

But that last corner in race 2... cant really say it's anything except a race incident, but damn... that's must have been heartbreaking to the bmw team.

Huh?? That was just great racing, with 4 guys fighting on the last corner. I don't see any egg on anyone's face.

Race 1  bow down bow down bow down

Race 2  bow down bow down bow down bow down bow down

That's it.

Just finished watching the 2 races on my DVR. All i can is WOW! I dont know where these 2 races would rank amoung the all time greatest but they are the most exciting i've seen. Just brilliant wire to wire. The last corner was worth a Hollywood script. WSBK is STILL my favorite moto series to watch.

Only down side - Checa got unlucky in race2 (not that he would be able to join the fight) and BMW couldn't repeat another 1-2 finish. They deserve it but some sh*t happens in racing.  If i were the BMW boss, after the battle in race 1, i'd told them to knock that crap off in race 2, at least after a certain lap #.  bang head

Sorry for Checa but it could have been anyone in the field. Just bad luck.

BUT... race two was one of the all time best WSBK races I have seen in years!!!!!!! Five bikes (four manufacturers!) in a pack that you could cover with a blanket! popcorn bow down Constantly dicing it out and after Sykes fell out of the lead (great ride by him by the way!) the lead swapped several times a lap. Then the drama at the end. Rea was a very patient mad dog. He worked his way up to the front and then stuffed everyone out of his way. Just a make the beast with two backsing awesome race!!

Sorry for the Bimmers getting taken out at the end but they put on a hell of a show in both races. You will NEVER see a race like that in MotoGP. Ever... The Stoner show just more boring after watching that race.

Agreed completely. After watching race 1 I was prepared for a bit of a let down for race 2, thinking no way they could top that. I was wrong!  waytogo
