Have you ever tried to carry a load (laundry, groceries, luggage) up or down a spiral staircase?  boo
but you're talking about a culture that eats day to day groceries, like here in Germany. You go to the market on the way home pick up fresh foods, go home cook.
You don't have a freezer full of junk food from six months ago like in the U.S.

That must suck having to go to the grocery every day.

We keep a lot of fresh foods around, and go to the market twice a week and that seems like a lot.

We cook every night, leftovers are gone for lunch the next day...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

In japan they have a very high rate of single person because the all the girls want to have a handsome husband who make at least 60K a year. The problem is that nobody does  !!

Now, they Even tinking about lowering  the income taxes on people how are "uglier"   Shocked  to make it  more interesting for girls to get in a relationship whit them.

that just my cultural note    laughingdp popcorn

Are they gonna have a committee?  Or a Judge?  Gonna be a lot of people checking the "Ugly" Box on their taxes to save some money.  I know I would...

There's a German couple in the village 2 down from ours. Everyday they walk together at 8am precisely to the market arm in arm with a wicker basket. Rain or shine. The couple is in their 70s at least. My wife and I see them as our inspiration to get through tough times.
Sometimes it isn't about the market, but the journey to it Wink

That's a nice image.

Seems like good time wasted though, he could send her to the market and go to the strip club.

it needs an old school batman style turntable in the entryway so you can pull in, and get off, and watch your bike spin around so you can go straight out to pick up the ladies

Exactly!

I like the design.  I could live there... of course, I'd have to get rid of a bunch of junk first but after that I could live there!  Wink

good thing i'm nto filling out a tax reduction form in MTL.

I'm imaging questions like "do you leave the seat up or down?" and "you want a sandwich. Do you ask your female companion to make you one, do you make one for yourself, or do you make one for both of you just in case she's hungry?"

japan is becoming an internet compatibility test!
