I had one of the '08 SE Daytonas (the black and gold ones).  The thing was just about bullet proof!  I sold it to get the Super Duke and have to say that I wish I wouldn't have.  The SD made better sense when I lived in Hawaii, but I'd rather have the Triumph now that I'm in the DC area.

Here's my old one...

That's a hot looking bike.

I miss my 06 Graphite.  I will have another.

I did a euro trackday in Canada right after I bought the bike (which none had been shipped to CA yet) so for many people it was the first time to see one in person.

I also wrecked at that track weekend (Mosport) so I was likely the first person to crash a 675 in canada.  It was just rash so I was able to keep riding.  We put a band-aid on it [laugh]

People would walk by and ooohh/ahhh and take pictures.  They walk to the other side and oohh/ahh turned to oohhhh nooooo [laugh]

Awesome bike.

It's red. i prefer the black and gold, but that was a SE. I don't mind the red.

I was going to see it this weekend, but the shop closes early on Saturdays. I might get a chance tomorrow.

I rode one a few years ago when the demo truck swung by where I used to live. Honestly I preferred the 848, but any Ducati is oppresively expensive.

Beautiful 675!!  Ben
A colleague of mine has that same bike...he's been plaqued with electrical/ charging issues
which have been costly for him.
He does complain about wrist & back issues too
But he still keeps it 8)
My people skills are just fine.
It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.

Really? I knew of two that came onto the island originally. The guy who bought the other one promptly wadded his. Then ran into another who had moved onto island with one. Hell, my old one might still be wandering around down there.

Had no issues at all with mine, and I can't really think of anyone I've spoken with having issues with theirs as well. The ergos weren't the most forgiving, but I found them to be close to what you got on a 8/10/11?8.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Ergos were great for me. I rode mine to Dimby and back. 1400 miles in 3 days total (600 one way on the slab)

A friend of mine who lives at the same complex as me just bought one.  Went from an 08 GSX-R600 to the 07 675.  He actually said "it makes me feel like I never want to ride a japanese bike again".  He really loves it.

I was just in a dealership a couple weekends ago and checked out the '11 and '12 side by side.  Fantastic bike.  It'd got the looks and has the performance to back it up.  The triple, IMO, has the best of the 2 worlds, power from the I-4 and torque from the twin.

If you were to buy new, you might want to consider the 675R - same everything with better suspension and brakes.  Might be worth the money if you are looking to track it.  My only complain about the '12 is that they tried to update the "Triumph" logo on the tank.  I am not a fan of the "modern" logo.  I much prefer the old school Triumph logo.

My only issue would be the height. I'm short. I hope not to run into too much traffic on my commute.
