I'm more concerned about that bike being on the lift just held by a rearstand.

I
still
see a belt. We're talking' 'bout the Triumph on the lift on the last page, right?
Wouldn't be the first time my eyes deceived me, but I see printing on it (the "belt") as well.

It's missing the bit in the middle, so it's a Vent.

Because there is no front wheel chock?

Pretty much.
I've got WMC Handy lifts, and they have a very robust clamp for either front or rear wheel.
It's what I'm accustomed to using, I know I can tug pretty hard on the bike and it won't move.
I've had a few bikes slide on the rearstand due to the slope of the swingarm.
No big deal 'til he rear tire touches down, but then it can go pear-shaped very quickly.
