anchorism.  How did you do the exhaust header wrap?  Did you take the header off?  or just wrap , with it in place?

Didn't wrap the rear header? Considering that wrap actually does anything I might be a good idea to wrap both headers.

I just had some leftover from another project and wanted to see if I liked it before tackling the rear header.  I was going to complete it now that I have more wrap but will probably be buying boom tubes so I'm holding off at the moment.

I took it off.  It takes a little bit of persistence to get it off the bike then back on but it is totally possible without major work.  Just make sure and disconnect the o2 sensor.

The S*R wheels do look better than the stock Enkeis but it comes at a price...2.2lbs heavier for just the rear.

2.2 lbs isnt too hard to drop off your running weight though.... i mean i could always cut back on grilling out every other day... he he

Its reciprocating weight so you'll have to drop maybe 10 lbs
you have enough to give up according to your wife

^truth.  Reciprocating mass has a much larger impact on performance than static mass.  2.2lbs on a wheel is huge..again this is just the rear, I haven't weighed the front.  An upgrade to forged wheels gives you a similar weight savings in the other direction.

Anyways, there on there now and they look great but it goes against the ethos of my build...which is light and minimalist, so I'm not sure how long I'll keep em.  Thinking its time for some Forged magnesium OZs  Evil

IMO the looks greatly outweigh the actual weight of the wheels.  I know the other ones weight a little less but damn the S*R wheels look good! lol
