Those rockers look like sh#t.......cams ok?  I'm curious, when the rockers are refaced, are they refaced to factory thickness dims?  and do you have to replace the cams because the cam lobe/rocker face surfaces no longer match to each other??  I.E., you're not gonna have to replace all of your opener shims are you? That would seem to add insult to injury....

Man, I wonder if it would be cheaper just to buy a new head!!

apparently, I need to take another look at the cams, but from what I remember, the cams didn't look like they had any damage (apparently you would see flattening spots on the lobes)

I will definitely need to change all my openers, but that's ok because I had to do that anyways since I changed to the MBP collets which require special opener shims anyways...

The rocker replating only costs 600 or so, a new head would definitely not be cheaper!

haha, yeah, unfortunately, pretty much everything's fairly 'normal' except for me losing a collet down into the engine 

at least the services get easier after the first one!  especially with the MBP collets...
