Got the itch to do some serious speed...  and I like my road-going license, so it'll have to be Bonneville and the SCTA for me.

Ok, here's the cliff-notes thus far:
2003 999S frame (FL non-rebuildable title)
2004 749R motor
2006 MTS620 swingarm
2007 M695 rear wheel
2002 GSXR600 triples and forks
2005 Honda CBR125R front wheel (17 x 1.85")
200? 999S air-box, injectors, throttle bodies & a Yoyodyne (?) quick-throttle
Steel subframe

I've also got the following but no pictures as of yet:
999S Termi pipes (no muffler), but 54mm 2-into-1-into-2 system
1199 lower radiator (should fit in the 'V' nicely & I'm not running an oil cooler)
Complete 2007 S4Rs stock clutch assembly

I'm hoping to get it salt-worthy by the first meet in May and have it more 'dialed in' by the BUB meet in August.  Also, the bike will be fitted with Nitrous Oxide by the BUB meet...  Evil

Also, for those on FB, I have a page to track the project...

You need an extended swingarm

To remain in the 'M' chassis class, I can't exceed a 10% increase in wheelbase over stock.  I can rake out the front or extend the arm, BUT the MTS620 arm is already longer than a 999 arm is (~ 1.5").  I'm on the fence about how to make up the remaining ~4" of wheelbase increase.  I'm leaning toward raking out the chassis (some) as the increased rake will make it more stable @ high speed...

All I know is that bikes are always better with an extended swingarm.

If I do extend it, it'll give me more volume to fill with lead, so that's good...

Cool.  Evil How fast are you hoping to go?

Record stands in that class @ 197.xxx...  I'm looking to move it up to ~205-210 but that may not happen this coming season.

BTW, here's another shot w/the adjusted stance:
