Hello again.
PLenty of roads - I mentioned some in your other intro post. There's some good stuff my Harpers Ferry, Geo Wash park and more to the west. Ann Arundel county area has some good stuff too.
As you might expect, things are quiet right now - you'll soon start to see threads pop up in here about rides. Also there's a kinda of rolling 'who's up for a ride?' thread too.

This is the "official" who's up for a ride
thread
if you want to bookmark it, but people also post up wherever. You'll see more activity when the weather's nicer and warmer

An 84 - Ironhead yes? Isn't that a g, uh - I mean a real man's bike! (I have a '77; no it's not running
)
I'm sure you've found the Monster a bit better in the handling department.
Welcome!

Think I already mentioned it, but I've got a 2000 900 also. It's an S, so the suspension and a couple items are different, besides the mods - but at the core the same bike. And I have the factory manual. So if you start a project and need a hand, I'll have probably have done it already. I've done just about every thing on this bike, save for opening up the case... and that's coming up shortly for a new starter.
Valves, forks, pulled the head etc etc.

thanks for the warm welcome! get that harley running tocino!
good looks slide panda! i've actually been reading about valve adjustment and tps adjustment recently, ill admit im kind of nervous. but my bike is running super poorly once i reach 3500~ rpm, total power loss. it feels like it just stops recieving fuel. i'm hoping if i adjust the valves and tps it will remedy the problem. maybe i should clean my fuel injectors? i can literally barely get her into 3rd gear. =(
hopefully somebody is enjoying this nice weather!

You might post up in Tech - but off the cuff it sounds like a fueling issue. Ever change the fuel filter? Know if it ever has been? Any kinks in the hoses?
Clean injectors never hurt anyone, but I'd not lay my blame there first nor out of adjustment valves. Out of whack valves will cause running issues - but unless they are so buggered that the the bike should be running at all, you should get past 3500 revs

yeah youre probably right, I have a bad tendency to overlook problems and make the worse of things. But don't think i was just going to jump in and do valve work without changing easier things first
I posted a thread in tech about it, i was pointed out to my ignition coils or pressure sensor. I'm sort of banking on the the fuel lines or filter though, cause that isnt too hard of a task plus it should be done anyways. could fuel in my oil or water / air in my fuel cause my problem?
ANYWAY i dont mean for this to become a tech post or anything haha
is there a good shop in our area that sells ducati parts? or should i just go online

What was it? Fuel filter? Did it sound/feel like it was running on one cylinder with surging prior to the fix?
Btw, welcome!
