I bought a spare set of OEM rear sets for my M696 off of ebay to mod. I chopped off the passenger pegs & the long part that held them, and then sprayed them in wrinkle black paint. They came out OK, but I wish I would have waited a few more days before installing them. The paint was still soft so there are some blemishes in the finish. Oh well, it only cost me about $45 and I still have my stock set if I ever need them.

I don't normally rate high level pipes on monsters but those combined with the tail chop look sweet

*nothing fancy in this post*
OE plate mount had the rear reflector too close for me to fit my frame, so I hacksawed it off and made a little bracket.
also fitted my state's safety inspection sticker (which was on a plate bent awkwardly between the bottom of the license plate and the rear reflector... stupid...) to a new spot on my SSS. I'm quite content with how it turned out.
crappy pic, but you get the idea

I'm sure this has been done many times but here's mine. I have a 3 Car garage one two car garage door and a smaller one car garage door and the Monster gets the single car bay all to itself while the cars share the two door garage bay.
This means there's a separate garage door opener for the single car garage door. I got sick of coming home, getting off the bike and punching in the garage door code then riding in to the garage so I spray painted my remote control black and velcro mounted it under the tank in front of the airbox behind the forks. Now I can just reach under push the button and open the garage door without getting off my bike. Simple yet efficient.

^^^^ +1 I was gonna do the same thing.
Here are some addons I have done recentlt
Used (new to me) 749 front fender, initially yellow but I painted to match the bike.
Installed a switch to cut off the low beam (no running light) to save juice...may help later on when I install a leas for my phone mount to use GPS.
And here are some pics of today ride
Ride safe y'all!

Homemade mods....Does anybody know if there is a tutorial somewhere on how to remove the charcoal canister? I know if it is not done properly, the bike will not run very well.

Hehe...its the ducati performance fairing I pick up from the forum a while back when I started my mods.
Didn't know what I was getting, when it shipped I was like wtf, but now I like it more than any other fairing.
Here the link on eBay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUCATI-PERFORMANCE-CARBON-HEADLIGHT-FAIRING-MONSTER-99-/120906775290?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1c269afafa
And...yes sir, I'm putting those clipons on this bike since I have no other bike to put it on hehe...please excuse my sarcasm.
Thank you for all the comments.
Duckoff...the headlight is morimoto projector retrofitted to the stock bucket, fairing as said above. There is a lot of discussion about retrofitting and/or go with Kyle option of using trucklite phrash 7 led....it goes on and on.....here the link to the thread.
