It took a bit of doing but I finally finished the fender.  Well you can't buy one so..........

I seen a few that could have worked but they are short and still allow small stones to rattle around and chip up everything.   My county loves to tar and stone almost every frickin road, and if they do not stone the entire road they repair the cracks with stone, so it was kind of a necessity.

I do like your longer one.
It will work better for the ST2 when I put the S2R swingarm on it ;)
you should take a mold of it and sell them

Less of a mod and more of a fix, but the lower/rear tab on my tank (cover) broke off one of the times I took it off... on both sides. I R dumb. Was able to catch one of the broken tabs, so I used an old license plate cover, my dremel, and some epoxy. Cut a copy of the stock tab that broke, epoxied them both on. They're drying over night as we speak. Hopefully everything works out fine tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll have that slight gap towards the groin on the tank. Nothing huge or unsightly, but kind of bothersome.

I'll bet a little Velcro would fix that situation right up!

I may have to try that. The epoxy I had in my tool box sets as more of a rubbery type so it was too soft and just came off the next time I removed the tank covers. If not velcro, I may wait until this winter and make my own tabs from carbon fiber. I've been following threads on another forum from a guy who makes tons of CF pieces himself. Lots of step by step. Seems really awesome.
