This is a cool thread. On another forum I check periodically they have a $50 mod thread that is a sticky. There are some cool things here. Maybe we could sticky this and put a $50 or some other max amount on the mods too.

Mine is http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=29422.0

Maybe one day I`ll post some pics of it on the bike.  Roll Eyes

Only thing I have done is a tail chop, homemade lics plate bracket and brake light/turn signal bracket:

But damn if this thread doesn't have me wanting to do more mods!  This weekend, I'm going to machine some custom frame plugs, I have an idea that I haven't seen anyone do yet.  waytogo

I wanted to chop/core my cans, but I can't seem to find any info on my year 750's cans other than some vague references to them not being coreable??

Also, I'm leaving the reflectors on just to make the beast with two backs with y'all!  Evil  laughingdp

I posted this a while back, but as its "homemade," I'll repeat it here...

I fabbed a rear brake reservoir from some 1/2" aluminum tubing, extra Rizoma outlets, some o-rings, an M8 aluminum bolt, an adel clamp and some zip ties:

For the outlet, I tapped M7x1.0 threads into the tubing, and for the cap I tapped M8x1.25 threads.  Some Tygon, zip ties, o-rings, adel clamp and viola!

I let it sit overnight and there were no leaks.

If you're careful, you can do the swap without bleeding:

Installed:

Brakes work fine.  The volume of the tubing allows for sufficient amount of fluid, and I left the "reservoir" 2/3 empty to allow for fluid expansion.  This should be fine as I only use the rear brake for low-speed maneuvers, finishing stops and while sitting at traffic signals.

Made a dash out of scrap aluminum, and removed the anodizing and drilled out the center of the Cycle Cat riser caps to fit my buddie's "left over" Rizoma preload adjusters.

Installed an old oil cooler from a m750 on my 696... First of it's kind and only
I have yet to see.... Did it for under $100 compared to the $400+ that dp charges... And it works perfect.
